VAMPAMID™ 6 3028 V0: An excellent flame retardant solution for many applications

For several years, the trend towards miniaturization of components has been highlighted in the electronics and electrical engineering industry. In addition of generating thermal sealing problems due to the higher temperatures faced it generates the need for materials with high flame retardancy performance even at very thin thicknesses.
Given this market need, VAMP TECH offers their VAMPAMID ™ 6 3028 V0, a PA6-based compound reinforced with 30% glass fiber, self-extinguishing, halogen-free and which today shows a yellow card with exceptional flame retardant characteristics (V0 up to 0.25 mm and 5VA up to 1.0 mm ALL COLOR). Moreover, it shows GWFI of 960°C, GWIT 775°C and CTI of 600V. Furthermore, mechanical properties and dimensional stability are also excellent.
Thanks to these characteristics VAMPAMID ™ 6 3028 V0 is the optimal solution for many applications in various markets: from household appliances, where the demand for 5VA materials is growing, to electrical and electronic (for high voltage applications) up to e-mobility (for high voltage connections and charging systems) and multiple applications also in the industrial field.
VAMPAMID ™ 6 3028 V0 is also certified HL3 for R26 and HL2 for R22 / R23 according to the European railway transport standard EN45545-2: 2015, which makes it suitable for its use in the production of electrical/electrotechnical components, including those ones inside the train wagons.
